Delete my Sopita data
Sopita, from Nettle Studios, has no accounts and no sign-up: there is no account to delete. Your game progress and settings are stored only on your phone, and Nettle has no access to them. This page explains how to delete them, how to stop sending usage data, and what happens to the rest of the data. More detail in section 10 of the privacy policy. The app is in Spanish, so the names of its menus are given in Spanish, with their English meaning.
1. Delete your progress from the game
In Sopita, open Ajustes (Settings) and choose Borrar el progreso (Delete progress). It deletes levels, coins and words; your settings are kept.
2. Uninstall the app
When you uninstall Sopita, Android deletes everything the app had stored on your phone, settings included.
3. Your Google backup
If you have Google backup turned on, Android may include Sopita's progress and settings in it. This backup is made by the operating system, not by the app, and Nettle has no access to it. You can turn it off or delete it from your phone's backup settings.
4. Usage data (Google Analytics for Firebase)
To stop sending usage data, go in Sopita to Ajustes → Privacidad (Settings → Privacy) and turn off «Medir el uso para mejorar el juego» (Measure usage to improve the game). The app stops sending it right away.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, you can also change your consent in Ajustes → Privacidad → Aviso de privacidad → Preferencias de anuncios (Settings → Privacy → Privacy notice → Ad preferences).
Data already sent is linked to a random installation identifier that Nettle cannot connect to you, and Google deletes it after at most 14 months.
5. Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
Crash reports do not contain your progress, your settings or any personal data. Google processes them on Nettle's behalf and deletes them automatically after 90 days.
6. Ad data (Google AdMob)
The data Google AdMob collects is processed by Google, not by Nettle. In Android's settings (Google → Ads or Privacy → Ads, depending on the phone) you can reset or delete the advertising ID and turn off ad personalization. To exercise your rights over that data, see Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
